The Story of King David ( Dawud )

दाऊद अपने सब भाइयों में छोटा और मामूली सा चरवाहा था। लेकिन प्रभु ने परवाह नहीं की कि दाऊद कैसे दिखता था। प्रभु को पता था कि दाऊद का दिल विश्वास से भरा हुआ था। उसने शमूएल से कहा था कि दाऊद राजा होगा। शमूएल ने दाऊद को आशीषित किया था। प्रभु की आत्मा ने दाऊद को राजा बनने के लिए तैयार किया था।

पलिश्तीन इस्राएलियों पर हमला कर रहे थे। गोलियत नाम का एक विशाल पलिश्तीन हर सुबह किसी भी इस्राएली को उससे लड़ने की चुनौती देता है। गोलियत किसी भी आम इंसान की तुलना में चौड़ा और लंबा था और वह क्रूर था। वह भारी कवच पहने हुए था और हाथ में तलवार, भाला और बड़ी ढाल थी। किसी में उससे लड़ने की हिम्मत नहीं थी।

 

दाऊद एक छोटा चरवाहा था और उसका प्रभु पर विश्वास था। उसके बड़े भाई इस्राएल की सेना में सिपाही थे। एक दिन, दाऊद अपने भाइयों के लिए कुछ खाना लाया था। जब वह सेना के शिविर में आया, तो उसने गोलियत की चुनौती सुनी।

दाऊद ने सैनिकों से पूछा कि कोई भी इस्राएल को बचा क्यों नहीं पा रहा है। उसके भाई क्रोधित हुए और उन्होंने उसे भेड़ों की देखभाल करने के लिए जाने को कहा। लेकिन दाऊद जानता था कि प्रभु इस्राएल की रक्षा करेगा।

राजा शाऊल दाऊद  के विश्वास के बारे में जानता था, इसलिए उसने दाऊद को मिलने बुलाया। दाऊद ने शाऊल से कहा कि वह गोलियत से लड़ने से नहीं डरता है। दाऊद ने बताया कि एक बार जब वह भेड़ों को चरा रहा था, तो उसने एक शेर और भालू को मार गिराया था। तब प्रभु ने उसकी रक्षा की थी और दाऊद जानता था कि प्रभु अब भी उसकी रक्षा करेगा।

शाऊल ने दाऊद को अपना कवच दिया। लेकिन यह उसके नाप का नहीं था, इसलिए दाऊद ने इसे उतार दिया। उसने कवच के बिना लड़ने का निश्चय किया।

दाऊद ने पांच चिकने पत्थर उठाकर उन्हें एक थैले में रख लिया। उसने अपनी गुलेल उठाई और चरवाहे की लाठी के साथ गोलियत का सामना करने निकल पड़ा।

जब गोलियत ने दाऊद को देखा, तो वह चिल्लाया और उसने दाऊद की हंसी उड़ाई। उसने कहा कि एक चरवाहा बालक उसे हरा नहीं सकता था। दाऊद ने पलटकर उसे जवाब दिया कि उसे प्रभु पर विश्वास है कि वह उसकी रक्षा करेगा! दाऊद ने कहा कि प्रभु की महानता दिखाने के लिए वह गोलियत को हरायेगा।

दाऊद गोलियत की तरफ दौड़ा। उसने तुरंत अपनी गुलेल से एक पत्थर फेंका। पत्थर गोलियत के माथे पर लगा और विशालकाय गोलियत जमीन पर ढेर हो गया। प्रभु ने बिना तलवार या कवच के गोलियत को हराने में दाऊद की मदद की थी।

जब पलिश्तिनों ने देखा कि गोलियत मर गया है, तो वे डर के मारे भाग खड़े हुए। इस्राएलियों ने लड़ाई जीत ली। दाऊद को प्रभु पर विश्वास था और प्रभु ने इस्राएल की रक्षा की थी।

Once upon a time, in the ancient land of Israel, there lived a shepherd boy named David. He was a simple lad, tending to his father's sheep with care and diligence.

One day, while David was visiting his brothers who were in the army, a great commotion erupted. The Philistines, fierce enemies of Israel, had challenged them to a battle. But despite their best efforts, the Israeli army couldn't defeat them.

David, though not a soldier, felt a stirring in his heart to help his people. He knew he had to do something. So, he approached King Saul and offered his services to fight against the Philistine champion, a giant named Goliath.

Saul was skeptical at first. After all, David was just a shepherd boy, not a trained warrior. But David was determined, and he explained that he trusted in God to help him.

With Saul's reluctant approval, David went to face Goliath. Armed with only a slingshot and some stones, he stood before the towering giant. Goliath laughed at the sight of the small boy challenging him.

But David remained steadfast. With a prayer in his heart, he took aim and launched a stone from his slingshot. It flew true and struck Goliath right between the eyes. The giant fell to the ground, defeated by the boy's bravery and faith.

The Israelites cheered as David emerged victorious. His courage had saved them from their fearsome enemy, and they hailed him as a hero.

From that day on, David's name was known throughout the land. He became a great king, leading his people with wisdom and strength. But it was his bravery on the battlefield that would always be remembered, showing that even the smallest among us can achieve greatness with faith and determination.

The story of David and Goliath teaches us that even small people can do big things. When the giant Goliath scared everyone, David, a shepherd boy, wasn't afraid. He believed that God would help him, so he used a slingshot to hit Goliath with a stone. Everyone was amazed when the giant fell down! This story shows that even if we're small or not very strong, we can still be brave and do great things if we believe in ourselves and have faith.
