पैगम्बर हज़रत इब्राहिम अलैहिस्सलाम की कहानी (Story of Prophet Ibrahim)

People of Babylon (a city in Iran) used to worship idols. There a man named Azar used to make very beautiful idols. People used to respect him a lot. One day a boy was born in his family. He was named Ibrahim. The child was brought up like a rich man. The child started growing rapidly. From childhood itself he started seeing the idol factory in his house. When the child grew up a bit, he started thinking what is all this? What will people do with it? When he grew up a bit more, he came to know that these idols made at home become gods after reaching the idol factories.

Then people worship them. The child started thinking, how do these idols of stone made in our house become gods? So one day he tried to get some information about them from his family members, then he got the answer, you are still young, these things are beyond your understanding. This is the way of our forefathers, and we have also been following their ways. Even then the child i.e. Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam was not satisfied. 

In this way the child grew up. No one could give him a satisfying answer. He thought in his heart, according to my opinion, if these idols are not gods, then who is the creator and owner of this world? Because of whom this whole universe is running? With this thought in mind, one night Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam came out of the house, looked up and saw a star in the sky spreading a very bright light. He started thinking, can this be God? You were not able to decide anything when after a while the moon came out. The light of the stars was less than its brightness. You again thought, could this be God? 

The night kept passing till the whiteness of the morning appeared and after a while the sun came out. Seeing the sun, you asked in your mind, this seems to be more bright and powerful than the stars and the moon, so could this be God? Byevening the light of the sun also decreased and the sun set. Then you declared that all this is not God but God's creation. The creator of all these and the caretaker of the whole world is God. I believe in him, I consider him as my God. Those who worship the moon, stars and the sun and consider them as their God are wrong.

In this way, Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam had reached the destination of reality, and he wanted to take people there too. Then he started explaining to people about a God, but people did not agree to worship God without seeing Him. Because it was not easy to leave the God whom they had been worshipping for years. He explained to them a lot, but people were not ready to believe in that God. Due to this, people treated him very badly. 

So much so that the king of that time, being angry with this, threw him in the burning embers of fire. Despite throwing him in the burning embers of fire, the fire could not burn him. Because you had full faith in God and God saved you from burning.You have made great sacrifices in the path of truth. You even left your country for the sake of Allah's pleasure. You were ready to sacrifice your beloved son in the path of Allah. But God's The miracle was such that it did not let this happen. In memory of this miracle,  the festival of Bakra Eid  is celebrated today. Allah blessed you with success in every test and happiness in this world and the hereafter. You were given the status of a prophet by God.

बाबुल (ईरान का एक शहर) के लोग बुतों की पूजा किया करते थेI वहां आज़र नाम का एक आदमी बहुत खूबसूरत बुत बनाया करता थाI लोग उसकी बड़ी इज़्ज़त किया करते थेI उसके घराने में एक दिन एक लड़का पैदा हुआ I जिसका नाम इब्राहिम रखा गया I बच्चे की परवरिश एक अमीरज़ादे की हैसियत से होने लगी I बच्चा तेज़ी से बढ़ने लगा I बचपन से ही उसने अपने घर में मूर्तियों का कारखाना देखना शरू कर दिया I बच्चा कुछ बड़ा हुआ तो सोचने लगा यह सब क्या हैं?लोग इसका क्या करेंगे? कुछ और बड़ा होने पर पता चला की घर में बनने वाली यह मूर्तियां बुतखानो में पहुँच कर देवता बन जाती हैं I

फिर लोग इनकी पूजा करते हैं बच्चा सोचने लगा, हमारे घर में बनने वाली पत्थर की यह मूर्तियां देवता कैसे हो जाती हैं? चुनांचे एक दिन आपने घर वालो को उनके बारे में कुछ जानकारी हासिल करनी चाही तो जवाब मिला, अभी तुम छोटे हो यह बातें तुम्हारी समझ से बाहर हैंI यही हमारे बाप दादाओं का तरीका हैं, और हम भी उन्ही के तरीको पर अमल करते आ रहे हैंI फिर भी बच्चे यानि हज़रत इब्राहिम अलैहिस्सलाम को तसल्ली नहीं हुई I

इसी तरह देखते सुनते बच्चा बड़ा हो गया I कोई उसे तसल्ली भरा जवाब न दे सका I उसने अपने दिल में सोचा मेरे ख्याल के मुताबिक अगर यह मूर्तियां देवता नहीं हैं, तो फिर दुनिया को पैदा करने वाला और मालिक कौन हैं? किसकी वजह से से ये पूरी कायनात चल रही हैं? इसी सोच में एक रात हज़रत इब्राहिम अलैहिस्सलाम घर से बाहर आये ऊपर नज़र डाली तो आसमान पर एक तारा बड़ा ज़ोरदार रौशनी बिखेरते हुए नज़र आया I आप सोचने लगे क्या यही खुदा हो सकता हैं? आप अभी कुछ फैसला न कर पाए की थोड़ी देर बाद चाँद निकल आया I उसकी रौशनी के आगे तारे की रौशनी काम पड़ गयी I आपने फिर सोचा क्या यह खुदा होगा? 

रात बीतती रही यहाँ तक की सुबह की सफेदी ज़ाहिर हुई और थोड़ी देर बाद सूरज निकल आया सूरज को देखकर आपने मन में सवाल किया, यह तो तारे और चाँद से भी ज़्यादा रौशनी वाला और ताकतवर नज़र आ रहा हैं, तो क्या यह खुदा होगा?शाम होते होते सूरज की रौशनी भी कम हो गयी और सूरज डूब गया फिर आपने एलान फ़रमाया यह सब खुदा नहीं बल्कि खुदा की मखलूक हैंI  इन सबको पैदा करने वाला और सारे जहाँ का पालनहार ही खुदा हैंI मै उसी पर ईमान रखता हूँ, उसे ही अपना माबूद मानता हूँ I चाँद तारो और सूरज की पूजा करने वाले और उन्हें अपना खुदा मानने वाले गलत हैंI

इस तरह आप हज़रत इब्राहिम अलैहिस्सलाम हकीकत की जिस मंज़िल पर पहुँच चुके थे, और लोगो को भी वहाँ तक पहुँचाना चाहते थेI  फिर उन्होंने लोगो को एक खुदा के बारे में समझाना शुरू कर दिया, लेकिन लोग बिन देखे खुदा की इबादत करने के लिए राज़ी नहीं हुए I क्यूंकि वह बरसों से जिनकी पूजा करते चले आ रहे थे, उन्हें छोड़ना आसान नहीं था I आपने उन्हें बहुत समझाया लेकिन लोग उस खुदा को मानने के लिए तैयार न हुए I इस बात की वजह से लोगो ने आपके साथ बहुत बुरा बर्ताव किया I यहाँ तक की इस बात से खफा होकर उस वक़्त वहाँ के बादशाह ने आपको आग के दहकते हुए अंगारो में डाल दिया I आग के दहकते अंगारो में डालने के बावजूद आग आपको जला न सकी I 

क्यूंकि आप को खुदा पर पूरा भरोसा था और खुदा ने आपको जलने से बचा लिया Iआपने हक़ की राह में बड़ी बड़ी कुर्बानियां पेश फ़रमाई हैंI अल्लाह की राह में उसकी रज़ा के लिए आपने अपना वतन तक छोड़ दिया I आपने अपने चहिते बेटे को अल्लाह राह में कुर्बान करने को तैयार हो गए I लेकिन खुदा का करिश्मा ऐसा था की ऐसा होने नहीं दिया I इसी करिश्मे की याद में आज बकरा ईद का त्यौहार मनाया जाता हैं I अल्लाह पाक ने आपको हर इम्तेहान में कामयाबी और दुनिया व आख़िरत की सुखरूई बख्शी I आपको खुदा की और से पैगम्बर का दर्जा दिया गया I
